Pam is a qualified and experienced psychotherapist committed to the well being of her clients. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and is a Certified Addictions Counselor, Level III (CAC III). In terms of her work with couples, Pam has undergone extensive post graduate training and is a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist and Supervisor. Pam has been practicing psychotherapy in the Denver area for the past 15 years, serving a diverse population of clients with diverse issues. The bulk of Pam’s clinical experience was at the Colorado AIDS Project where she served for just over eight years. She provided psychotherapy to clients and clinical supervision to the staff and interns. Her private practice has been operating since 2004 where she has had a specific focus on relationship issues. Graduating with a MA in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver, Pam has furthered her education in the specific areas of cross cultural counseling, couples counseling, trauma, and recovery from addictions.

Pam has been conducting diversity trainings and consultations since 1999. During her time at the Colorado AIDS Project she gained extensive experience working with diverse populations as well as chairing the agency’s diversity committee. She worked as a consultant and trainer for the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless where she trained all current and incoming staff on diversity issues with a specific focus on working with individuals in poverty. Pam also worked for the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia where she trained all staff on diversity issues with a specific focus on race, gender, and sexual orientation with African Americans transitioning from incarceration. Graduating with a MA in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from the University of Colorado at Denver, Pam has furthered her education in diversity issues through a variety of specialized trainings. In her previous profession as a professional dancer, she traveled the world and had the opportunity to experience a variety of cultures — an experience which prompted a passion to embrace and highly respect the richness of diversity and culture.
